Arizona has traditionally been considered a Republican state; however, in the 2020 elections, Democrat Joe Biden emerged victorious, making this state a "swing" state.

Trump won in all 7 "swing states" — North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, Nevada, Arizona, and Georgia. In total, the Republican candidate secured 312 electoral votes, while Harris received 226.

On November 6, Trump declared his victory to his supporters. He received congratulations from several world leaders, including the presidents of France and Ukraine, as well as the prime ministers of the United Kingdom, Israel, Hungary, and NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte.

According to forecasts, Republicans are also expected to achieve success in the Senate elections — the upper chamber of Congress, and they have a chance to maintain control over the lower chamber — the House of Representatives.
