Biden emphasized that such an attack is “outrageous” and serves as yet another reminder of the “urgency and importance of supporting the Ukrainian people in their defense against Russian aggression”.

“Russia continues to underestimate the bravery, resilience, and determination of the Ukrainian people. The United States, along with more than 50 countries, stands with Ukraine and its fight for freedom”, Biden stated.

Massive Attack on the Energy System

The Russian forces launched a massive attack on Ukraine with missiles and strike drones during the night and morning of November 28.

During the attack, Russia recorded 12 hits, primarily targeting facilities in the fuel and energy sector.

In total, the occupiers launched 188 aerial assault means against Ukraine — 91 missiles and 97 drones. Specifically, civilian infrastructure was struck by "Caliber" missiles with cluster munitions.
