Zelensky noted that Ukraine is consistently working on bringing its people back home. Today, another 25 Ukrainians were successfully returned from Russian captivity.

"These are our military and civilians. Among them are the defenders of Mariupol and Azovstal, as well as those from Kharkiv, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson. The guys are suffering from serious injuries and illnesses. Each of them will receive all the necessary medical care," — the president wrote.

Volodymyr Zelensky expressed gratitude to the team that searches for Ukrainians and organizes the exchanges. The head of state also thanked the United Arab Emirates for facilitating today's exchange.

It should be noted that Ukrainian Alla Spirodinova has been waiting for nearly three years for the return of her son Yuriy from captivity. The young man voluntarily joined the army at the beginning of the full-scale invasion.

In Odesa, another rally was held in support of Ukrainian prisoners of war. Participants gathered to remind everyone of the heroes who are currently held captive by the Russians.
