The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andriy Sibiga announced this during a briefing with the UK Foreign Secretary David Lammy on Wednesday, February 5.
"The UK is providing £3 million to expand the 'Food from Ukraine' initiative," emphasized Sibiga.
Additionally, he expressed gratitude to Lammy for the expansion of sanctions against the Russian shadow fleet. According to Sibiga, Kyiv will soon begin utilizing funds from a loan exceeding £2 billion provided by London. These funds were obtained from Russia's frozen assets.
Recall that on February 5, Sibiga announced a new aid package from Britain amounting to £55 million.
Previously, the Ukrainian ambassador to the UK Valeriy Zaluzhny spoke about David Lammy's visit to Kyiv.
