Attack on Orban in Strasbourg

"How much did you sell your country for, Prime Minister? You sold it to Putin, you sold it to Xi Jinping," shouted the assailant, throwing a stack of what appeared to be banknotes towards Orban.

According to reports, the individual who attempted to assault the Hungarian Prime Minister is opposition politician Marton Nyekitski from the "Democratic Coalition" party. Why attempted? Because security did not allow him to reach Orban, so the Hungarian Prime Minister was unharmed.

"When a Hungarian politician tells another that he is a scoundrel, in our culture it only means 'I disagree with you'," Orban stated after the incident.

It is worth noting that at the end of September, Prime Minister Viktor Orban's chief aide, Balazs Orban, emphasized that if Hungary were in Ukraine's position, the country likely would not be fighting the Russians. 

Additionally, less than two months ago, we reported that Poland's Deputy Foreign Minister Teofil Bartoszewski expressed doubts about the appropriateness of Hungary's membership in the European Union and NATO.
