A driver who was drunk and hit two women in Mykolaiv region has been sent to pre-trial detention.
Today, December 18, a court in Pervomaisk has arrested the driver suspected of causing a traffic accident while intoxicated. The court has ordered the man to be held in custody for 60 days with the possibility of bail.
The police of Mykolaiv region reported this.
On December 17, investigators officially charged the driver with suspicion.
The suspect faces up to three years in prison and may lose his driving license for a period of three to five years. The pre-trial investigation is ongoing.
