In the Mykolaiv region, a collision occurred between a VAZ and a Volkswagen, resulting in three individuals being hospitalized (photo).

On Friday, December 6, a traffic accident occurred on the highway between the villages of Pribuzhany and Yastrubinovo in the Voznesensk district of Mykolaiv region, resulting in injuries to three individuals, including a 15-year-old girl.

This information was reported by the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Mykolaiv region.

A crew from the 12th State Fire and Rescue Unit of the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Mykolaiv region was dispatched to the scene.

Upon arrival, it was determined that there had been a collision between a VAZ 21011 and a Volkswagen Golf. As a result of the accident, a girl born in 2009 was injured while in the VAZ 21011 vehicle and was transported to the hospital by medical personnel. Another passenger, a woman born in 1961, was trapped in the vehicle's structural components. Rescuers used specialized tools to free the injured woman and handed her over to medical staff.

Additionally, the 20-year-old driver of the Volkswagen also sustained injuries. All injured parties were taken to the KP KNP Voznesensk Multidisciplinary Hospital. Three other adult passengers in the VAZ refused hospitalization.

The circumstances of the incident are being investigated by specialists.
