A man in Lviv was sentenced to a 1-year probation period after causing a traffic accident, exposing himself, and urinating on a police car.

According to the court, the man was intoxicated on January 24, 2025, when he caused the traffic accident. Upon the arrival of the police, he "exposed his genitals and relieved himself on the officers' vehicle." This incident was witnessed by passersby.
During the trial, the man admitted his guilt and expressed remorse. He explained that "on that day, his friend had died, and another was missing. To alleviate the emotional stress, he consumed alcohol and, without considering the consequences, got behind the wheel. On his way home, he was involved in a traffic accident, which prompted three officers from the Lviv Regional Patrol Police to come to the scene. Initially, he remained in the vehicle, but when the police began to prepare administrative violation reports against him, he became agitated and consequently committed the hooligan actions described in the indictment."
The court found the man guilty under part 1 of Article 296 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine and sentenced him to a 1-year probation period.
