On January 10, a bus carrying passengers was involved in an accident near Lviv. Seven people were injured.
This was reported by RBK-Ukraine citing the police in the Lviv region.
The incident occurred on January 10, around 19:30, on the "Kurovichi-Rohatyn" highway in the village of Zatemne, Lviv district.
Preliminary investigations by law enforcement revealed a collision between a Peugeot 3008, driven by a 36-year-old resident of Ivano-Frankivsk, and a Mercedes-Benz bus operated by a 39-year-old resident of the Lviv district.
"As a result of the accident, the driver of the car and six passengers from the bus sustained injuries and were taken to medical facilities," the police stated.
Among the injured are residents of the Lviv district aged 17, 18, and 41, a 67-year-old woman from Lviv, a 28-year-old man from the Lviv district, and a 48-year-old resident of the Zolochiv district.
Investigators have opened a criminal case regarding the incident. The maximum penalty provided under the relevant article is up to three years of restriction of freedom, along with a ban on driving for up to three years.
As previously reported, in Prykarpattia, a car collided with a truck. Five people died as a result of the accident.
Additionally, in Vinnytsia region, a Geely and a Subaru collided. Four people were killed, and two others were injured.
