On December 15, a triple accident occurred near Lviv involving a truck, a car, and a minibus. Seven people lost their lives, and three others were injured.
This information was reported by the Lviv Regional Police.
"The accident took place today, December 15, at 5:30 AM on the highway 'Ternopil - Lviv - Rava-Ruska' near the village of Chizhikov in the Lviv district," the statement reads.
According to preliminary investigations by the police, there was a collision between three vehicles: a BMW car, a DAF truck, and a Mercedes Sprinter minibus.
"Seven individuals died at the scene from injuries sustained in the accident; they were passengers of the Mercedes Sprinter minibus, and their identities are being confirmed," the police stated.
Additionally, three people were injured: a 45-year-old truck driver, a 39-year-old minibus driver, and his 23-year-old passenger. They have been hospitalized in medical facilities in Lviv.
