On the evening of Monday, January 6, a collision occurred between a Nissan Qashqai and a Kia Sportage on Central Avenue in Mykolaiv.
This was reported by a correspondent from "Novosti-N" at the scene.
The "Nissan" was traveling from 6th Slobodskaya Street towards 3rd Slobodskaya Street. Before the pedestrian crossing near 5th Slobodskaya, the driver stopped to let pedestrians pass. At that moment, the following "Kia" crashed into the "Nissan".
As a result of the accident, no one was injured, and the vehicles sustained minor mechanical damage. However, the driver of the "Nissan," who was a foreigner, insisted on calling the patrol police, stating that he was unfamiliar with Ukrainian laws regarding accident documentation.
Consequently, traffic in the area was hindered: the left lane was occupied by the collided vehicles, while the right side had parked cars.
