A renowned American musician has died in a car accident

The well-known American musician, guitarist, and co-songwriter for the rock band KISS, Karl Cochran, has tragically passed away in a car accident at the age of 61.

According to the Bridgewater Police Department's Facebook page, the incident occurred on February 19 at approximately 7:20 AM. Karl's mother, 90-year-old Arna, was driving the vehicle, with the musician seated in the back. The woman lost control and crashed into a tree. During the impact, Cochran was ejected from the car and sustained multiple injuries.

"She was backing out through the yard, crashed into a tree, and the passenger was thrown from the vehicle upon impact," law enforcement officials reported.

The man was urgently transported to the hospital, but medical staff were unable to save his life.
