In Ukraine, mobile communication tariffs are significantly increasing. Specifically, the mobile operator Vodafone has announced a rise in its service prices.

Subscribers of Vodafone are receiving the relevant notifications. The cost of mobile communication and internet usage over four weeks will increase by 40–70 hryvnias starting January 30. This affects tariff plans such as SuperNet Start and Light+, among others. At the same time, the operator seems to be increasing the internet allowance as a form of "compensation."

As explained by Vodafone representatives in their communications with Ukrainians on social media, the operator is compelled to raise fees "to maintain the quality of services." In messages notifying subscribers about the tariff increase, it is stated that this is happening "due to rising costs for network support and development."

It is worth noting that other mobile operators in Ukraine are also raising their tariffs. In particular, lifecell plans to increase its service prices starting February 2025, citing the rise in electricity costs as the reason.

As reported by "Telegraph," the mobile operator "Kyivstar" is inviting subscribers from other companies to switch to their service with their existing number. However, Ukrainians who are already customers of "Kyivstar" continue to complain about its policies. People are requesting a cheaper plan without internet, but the operator does not agree.
