It is now the 1,051st day of the full-scale war against Russian occupiers. Since the beginning of the past day, January 8, there have been 166 combat engagements on the front lines. The Russians have made advances in the Pokrovsk and Kurakhove directions in the Donetsk region.
According to data from the DeepState portal, the enemy has advanced in Toretsk and Pisky. They have also made progress near Vozdvizhivka, Baranivka, Solenoye, Slavyanka, Petropavlivka, Novoelizavetivka, and Kurakhovo.
5 6 7 8 9 0In the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, it was reported that the highest number of enemy attacks on January 8 occurred in the Kurakhove direction. The Russians attacked our positions 32 times near Dachne, Kurakhove, Shevchenko, Petropavlivka, Slavyanka, and Yaseneve.
In the Pokrovsk direction, the Russians attempted to breach our defenses 27 times. Fighting occurred near the settlements of Myrolyubivka, Baranivka, Yelizavetivka, Lisovka, Zelenoye, Zverevoye, Novy Trud, Kotlino, and Nadeevka.
"Today (January 8, — ed.) in this direction, 312 occupiers were neutralized, 154 of them irretrievably. Additionally, one armored combat vehicle, eight units of automotive equipment, and four UAV control antennas were destroyed; our soldiers also damaged a tank and a vehicle of the invaders," the General Staff clarified.
In the Toretsk direction, our defenders repelled six enemy attacks. The Russians attacked near Toretsk and Diliivka.
The situation in the Kursk region is being clarified, noted DeepState analysts. According to the General Staff, by 10 PM on January 8, our defenders had repelled 27 attacks by Russians there.
