The 1063rd day of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine continues. Over the past day, on January 20, Ukrainian defenders repelled 151 attacks from the occupiers across various fronts.
According to information from the analytical portal DeepState, Russian forces have advanced near several settlements in the eastern part of the country. The enemy is attempting to seize new territories in the Kharkiv, Luhansk, and Donetsk regions.
Specifically, analysts at DeepState report advancements by Russian troops near Velyka Novosilka, Uspenivka, and Slavyanka in Donetsk Oblast.
Additionally, the Russian army allegedly managed to make progress near the village of Nadezhda in Luhansk Oblast. In the Kharkiv direction, the Russians have achieved some success near Dvorichna.
At the same time, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine does not confirm the information regarding the advancement of Russian troops near the mentioned settlements. However, there are reports that near Velyka Novosilka, the enemy attempted to advance on the positions of Ukrainian defenders, but our soldiers halted the assault.
According to the General Staff, the highest number of attacks—almost half of all combat encounters—occurs in the vicinity of Pokrovsk. Our soldiers are making efforts to prevent the enemy from advancing deep into Ukrainian territory. The Russians are suffering significant losses in personnel and equipment.
Recall that earlier, "Telegraph" reported that Russians are complaining about explosions at factories and airfields. In particular, it was reported that a series of explosions occurred in Ryazan and Kazan.
