On the morning of January 23, Russian occupiers launched strikes on Zaporizhzhia using "Iskander-M"/KN-23 ballistic missiles. The launches reportedly took place from the Voronezh region, with civilian infrastructure once again being targeted by the enemy.

This information was reported by a correspondent from "Telegraph", and was also written by Ivan Fedorov, the head of the Zaporizhzhia regional military administration. The information was confirmed by Regina Kharchenko, secretary of the city council.

"The enemy is hitting the city again. At least 4 explosions were heard in Zaporizhzhia. Preliminary reports indicate there are casualties,"reported Fedorov.

The occupiers launched two salvos of two missiles from Voronezh. The results of the strikes are still unknown, but it is likely that civilian infrastructure was once again targeted. Locals reported hearing at least four explosions.

Updated. As a result of the strike, there are 10 casualties, including four employees of the State Emergency Service. People may be trapped under the rubble. There are also reports of damage and destruction to several residential buildings due to the occupiers' strike.

It should be noted that on the evening of January 22, Russian occupiers carried out a massive drone attack on Zaporizhzhia. Most of the drones were destroyed during the attack, but five UAVs hit an infrastructure facility.

And in the early morning hours of Saturday, January 18, Russians attacked Ukraine with drones, followed by ballistic missile strikes. Several explosions were heard in Kyiv, and two explosions were reported in Zaporizhzhia, with loud sounds also noted in Dnipropetrovsk. As a result of the enemy shelling in Kyiv, four people were killed, and ten people were injured in Zaporizhzhia.
