The number of victims from the missile strike by Russian occupiers in Kryvyi Rih increased on the evening of December 19. Currently, five individuals have been reported injured, including one child, fortunately with no fatalities.
The city’s mayor Oleksandr Vilkul reported this information. He confirmed that the Russians launched a ballistic missile at a two-story residential building, and the emergency operation at the attack site has been completed.
"At this moment, there are 5 injured — a 15-year-old girl, two men aged 38 and 49, and two women aged 30 and 82. Two individuals were rescued from the rubble thanks to the patrol police and the State Emergency Service. All injuries are of moderate severity. There are many damaged high-rise buildings and private homes around... We are currently transporting patients from the nearest hospital, where all windows have been shattered, to other facilities," he wrote.
The State Emergency Service confirmed the aftermath of the Russian attack on the city. They also published photos from the strike site.
"Kryvyi Rih: Russian occupiers launched a missile strike on the city, partially destroying a two-story apartment building", the statement reads.
