At the beginning of the second month of winter in Ukraine, March-like weather has settled in. On Friday, January 10, temperatures in some areas will rise to 13 degrees Celsius, while in Crimea, it may reach as high as +17. Meanwhile, in parts of the country, winter will remind us of its presence with rain and snow.
Meteorologist Igor Kibalchich reported that the whole week in Ukraine will experience abnormally warm weather with rain. A warm and humid air mass of Mediterranean origin has entered the territory of Ukraine.
On Friday, January 10, high temperatures will continue to dominate in Ukraine. According to forecasts from the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, throughout the day, the air temperature in Ukraine will remain above zero (except in the Luhansk region, where it may drop to 0 at night).
At night, thermometers will show between +2 and +6 degrees. During the day, forecasters predict temperatures ranging from 3 to 13 degrees with a positive sign. The warmest weather will be in the southern part of the country, where the air in Crimea will warm up to an incredible +17 for winter. The western part of Ukraine will be cooler, with temperatures between +3 and +8 degrees.
Rain is possible across the country. In Volyn, Rivne, Lviv, Ternopil, and Transcarpathian regions, it may fall as snow. More intense precipitation is expected in the western regions, as well as in Zhytomyr, Kyiv, Vinnytsia, and Chernihiv regions. In other areas, rainfall will be minimal.
Previously, "Telegraph" reported on the weather in Ukraine in January and February. According to folk forecaster from Volyn, Volodymyr Derkach, no severe frosts are expected this year.
