On Thursday, January 23, the weather in Ukraine will be cloudy and damp. Periodic fogs are expected, resulting in low visibility on the roads.
This was reported by meteorologist Natalia Didenko. It is anticipated that precipitation in the form of wet snow and rain will occur across Ukraine.
The western regions will only experience cloudy weather. However, in the Carpathians and Transcarpathia, it will be damp and snowy.
Nighttime temperatures will be close to zero, with slight negatives in the eastern regions (ranging from -1 to -4 degrees Celsius). During the day, temperatures will fluctuate between 0 and +4 degrees Celsius, rising to +3 to +7 degrees Celsius in the southern and western parts of the country.
On January 23, Kyiv is expected to see wet snow and fog.
The weather forecast, although subject to change, continues to show a trend towards rising temperatures.
"The previously predicted extremely high temperatures have slightly decreased, yet the trend (the trend!) towards March or almost April warmth in the forecasting models remains," the report states.
Didenko believes that from January 25 to 30, temperatures in Ukraine will rise to +4 to +9 degrees Celsius, and in the south, even reaching +7 to +13 degrees Celsius.
Earlier, "Telegraph" reported on whether there will be magnetic storms from January 20 to 24.
