Once again, a mysterious flight of passenger aircraft has been recorded in the skies over Ukraine. This time, they may have flown over the Odessa region.
This is indicated by data from the Flightradar24 portal. The aircraft belong to different airlines and were operating flights to various countries; however, both departed from Chișinău (the capital of Moldova).
Boeing 737-8BK from SkyUp with tail number 9H-SAS was flying to the Egyptian Sharm El Sheikh on January 19. However, at approximately 23:40 (01:40 Kyiv time), it allegedly crossed the closed airspace of Ukraine and reached Izmail (Odessa region).
1 2Airbus A320-233 from FlyOne with tail number ER-00008 was en route to Tbilisi (Georgia) on January 19. However, around the same time, it also allegedly entered Ukrainian airspace and flew near Izmail.

5It is worth noting that the airspace over Ukraine has been closed since the onset of the Russian invasion. Nevertheless, monitoring services regularly record passenger planes over various regions of Ukraine.
There could be several reasons for their appearance: transmission of distorted data about the aircraft's location, malfunctions in ground reception stations, GPS interference, active use of electronic warfare, or issues with data processing in the Flightradar service.
