Julia Tymoshenko rides her favorite horse. Who will be her competitor in the upcoming parliamentary elections?

Former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko has been actively denying reports from global and Ukrainian media regarding her preparations for the 2025 elections, yet that hasn't stopped her from being one of the first to effectively launch her electoral campaign and engage with opponents.

As reported by "Telegraph," Tymoshenko has been in talks with the fifth president (2014-2019) Petro Poroshenko. They discussed how to ensure fair elections and prevent the authorities from misusing administrative resources.

Tymoshenko's electorate primarily consists of elderly individuals, most of whom live in rural areas. Therefore, her rhetoric is unlikely to change. She will urge voters to support her as she promises to fight against land sales, low wages, and the "pharmaceutical mafia" that raises drug prices. Even her opponents believe she will surpass the 5% electoral threshold.

In social issues, her competitor could be "European Solidarity" MP Oleksiy Honcharenko, who has been actively developing his own brand in recent years and attempting to distance himself from Poroshenko.

However, according to "Telegraph," in the event of serious competition, "European Solidarity" has a file of compromising materials on Honcharenko that could potentially end his political career.

It is worth noting that another competitor for Tymoshenko's political force in the elections to the Verkhovna Rada may be the party of former speaker Dmytro Razumkov, "Rational Politics."
