The Russian forces launched a missile strike on Kyiv on Friday, December 20, not because Russian President Vladimir Putin was allegedly offended by the words of President Volodymyr Zelensky, who called him a "d*ckhead." The attack is a response to the loss of strategic assets in Russia.
This was stated by the head of the Center for Counteracting Disinformation of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, Andriy Kovalенко. He noted that the Russians targeted the Ukrainian capital with ballistic missiles launched from the Bryansk region.
"Having lost a number of strategic assets in Russia, Putin decided to strike at civilian vehicles and homes in the capital, frightening children. When someone runs around claiming he was offended by 'd*ckhead,' I advise not to fall for that nonsense," Kovalенко emphasized.
He pointed out that Putin is an ordinary war criminal who "has been doing this for three years." According to the head of the CPD, the more strategic assets are destroyed in Russia, the sooner the attacks on Ukraine will end.
Recall that Zelensky sharply commented on the words of the Russian dictator regarding the experimental launch of "Oreshnik" towards Kyiv. "People are dying, and he finds it 'interesting'... D*ckhead," wrote the Ukrainian president.
