In January, Ukraine experienced unusually warm weather with record-high temperatures. This warmth is expected to continue on January 24.

This was reported by meteorologist Igor Kibalchich, who also shared details about where precipitation will occur.

According to him, the weather conditions in our country will be influenced by a high-pressure area and the presence of an anticyclone from the east. Due to the dominance of warm air masses, temperatures are anticipated to be abnormally high, particularly in the southern and western regions of the country.

Weather in Ukraine on January 24

On Friday, January 24, light rain, occasionally mixed with wet snow, is possible in parts of Crimea, Polissya, and Transcarpathia. In other regions of Ukraine, no precipitation is expected. Fog may occur in some areas. The wind will be from the southwest at 3-8 m/s. Nighttime temperatures are expected to range from -2 to +3 degrees, while daytime temperatures will be between +2 and +7, with some areas in Odessa reaching up to +10 degrees Celsius.

Igor Kibalchich notes that overall, the weather conditions will resemble those typical of November or March.
