When there's plenty of snow but few shovels, residents of Poltava showcased their creativity in a masterclass (video).

At the end of winter, snowstorms hit Ukraine. Particularly affected was Poltava, where it seems there is a shortage of shovels, leading people to clear snow with whatever they can find. Recently, a janitor was clearing snow with a road sign, and now two young men have come up with an equally creative method.

In a video shared by the Telegram channel "Trukha Poltava", you can see how two young individuals are clearing snow using banana boxes. They work in harmony and synchronously, utilizing two or even three boxes at a time. This way, they manage to clear a fairly large area of snow in one go.

Nearby, another guy is removing snow in the traditional manner – with a shovel. The reason why the stars of the video opted for boxes instead of shovels remains unclear. It’s likely that they simply ran out of shovels. The exact location of this creative street cleaning is not specified.

The snow caught Ukrainians off guard and caused quite a few inconveniences. For instance, in Kamianske, a bus made six attempts to drive down a snow-covered street.

As reported by "Telegraph", earlier, users from Kharkiv noted how local utility workers were marching almost in formation somewhere with their work tools. This reminded them of a scene preparing for a Quidditch match from the "Harry Potter" films.
