The leader of North Korea, Kim Jong Un, stated during a meeting with the head of Russia's Ministry of Defense, Andrei Belousov, that his country will "steadfastly support" Russia's war against Ukraine. They agreed to strengthen their strategic partnership.
The Korean news agency reported that Kim Jong Un and Belousov reached a "satisfactory consensus" on enhancing their strategic partnership, according to AP. Kim Jong Un emphasized that North Korea "will consistently support the Russian Federation's policy of protecting its sovereignty and territorial integrity against the imperialists' hegemonic moves."
Belousov also met with North Korean Defense Minister No Kwang Chol. During a luncheon banquet that same day, Belousov remarked that "the strategic partnership between the two countries is crucial for safeguarding their sovereignty from the aggression and arbitrariness of imperialists."
It should be noted that North Korea not only supplies Russia with weaponry for the war against Ukraine but has also sent its fighters to assist. Radio intercepts from the GUR confirm the presence of North Korean soldiers in the Kursk region. The radio operator is actively coordinating the movement of the unit, speaking in Korean: "Move out quickly! Hurry, move back faster!".
As reported by "Telegraph," since the beginning of October, North Korea has delivered 100 ballistic missiles, artillery systems, and a vast quantity of ammunition to Russia. Pyongyang continues to increase the pace of various arms supplies to Moscow.
