Some men in Ukraine are entitled to military service deferment. After February 28, those liable for military service may lose their deferment if their enterprise loses its critical status or fails to meet the criteria.
The Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support is accommodating defense enterprises, communication companies, and energy sectors by providing time for the re-deferment of employees. If a company does not adhere to the deferment rules, its employees (those with deferments) may be mobilized, as stated by Alexander Fedienko, a member of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security, Defense, and Intelligence.
"The mobilization task for deferring military personnel usually pertains to the agro-industrial sector, aimed at producing the necessary goods for military needs. The mobilization task must be set considering the capacity of the enterprises. It should be such that the enterprise can fulfill it.", — Fedienko explained.
At the same time, he reminded that the deferment of an employee should be established by the Ministry of Economy. The deferment will not be revoked even if the enterprise temporarily loses its mobilization task.
"Therefore, after February 28, a certain percentage of deferred military personnel will be mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other military formations.", — he concluded.
Recall that earlier "Telegraph" reported on whether the Territorial Center for Recruitment can mobilize a deferred employee.
