Boxing star Mike Tyson lost a match to YouTuber Jake Paul.

The match between the boxers took place at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, with over 72,000 spectators in attendance.

Throughout most of the fight, Paul maintained control and ultimately defeated his opponent, becoming the sixth boxer to beat Tyson. Tyson's current record stands at 50 wins (44 by knockout) and 7 losses.

The initial rounds were calm, but Paul soon landed several precise punches. The 58-year-old Tyson showed signs of fatigue during the match.

With this victory, Paul improved his record to 11 wins, including seven knockouts, against just 1 loss. After the match, Tyson was asked if he felt he had proven to the world that he could still fight despite his age.

“I wasn’t proving anything to anyone, just to myself. I’m not one of those guys who seeks to please the world. I’m just happy with what I can do,” he replied.

Meanwhile, Paul stated that Tyson had always supported him and that it was “just an honor to be in the ring” with him. The 27-year-old opponent of the former champion also referred to him as a “legend” and bowed to him.

It’s worth noting that the fight between Tyson and Paul garnered significant attention and was highly anticipated, as it was originally scheduled for July but was postponed due to a bout of illness Tyson experienced.

The incident during the weigh-in ahead of the fight sparked a buzz on social media when Tyson slapped Paul during the traditional stare-down.
