Winter has arrived, but it won't last long: when will the frost ease in Ukraine?

The start of February has brought a sudden drop in temperatures, but it won't last long. Weather in Ukraine is expected to become milder by the middle of next week.

This is supported by data from the Ventusky website. We should anticipate that the coming days will be marked by significant nighttime frosts and daytime temperatures hovering around zero degrees.

However, the first signs of warming can be felt in the southern regions of Ukraine as early as February 12, after which thermometers will rise on February 14 and 15.

Nonetheless, on February 18, Ukrainians can expect another sharp cold snap, which will be most noticeable in the east.

During the warming period, temperatures are expected to rise to +3…+6 degrees during the day, although in southern areas, certain periods may see temperatures reaching up to +10. At night, frosts of up to -6 degrees are possible.

As a reminder, "Telegraph" previously reported on what the weather in Ukraine in February of this year will be like. Folk forecaster Vladimir Derkach has made predictions until the end of winter.
