An expert suggests that the capital's funeral mafia threatening an "Azov" veteran may be linked to MP Dubil.

Behind the funeral mafia that is threatening "Azovstal" defender Alexander Skorik, who is currently involved in military burials in Kyiv, may be the people's deputy Valeriy Dubil. This was reported by lawyer and political expert Mikhail Schneider.

"There is information suggesting that the capital's funeral mafia, which is threatening the veteran of "AZOV" with violence, may be connected to deputy Dubil. According to information from [journalistic] investigations, deputy Valeriy Dubil is the head of the supervisory board of the charity foundation "Nadiya". One of the co-founders of this foundation is Vladislav Landar, who is the son of Alla Landar, the head of the monopolistic funeral agency with the imperial name "Peter the Great", which the Azov fighter clearly identified as the client behind the threats against him. Thus, we have a typical deputy-mafia cemetery cartel," Mikhail Schneider stated.

He noted that a report on the "Nadiya" foundation was released by Bihus.info just over a month ago.

Schneider reminded that just a few days ago, the veteran of the war and defender of "Azovstal", Alexander Skorik, who was appointed deputy director of the state communal enterprise "Spetskombinat", was threatened by the capital's funeral mafia.

"The reason for the attack is clear – these individuals are losing their monopoly and money. Those who attack are the ones who immediately call relatives upon someone's death, pushing exorbitant services. When relatives refuse, they apply pressure and issue threats. It is surprising (though not really) the persistence, audacity, and shamelessness of these players. Even bandits cannot act so boldly without having patrons behind them," the expert argued.

He emphasized that the threats are directed at the military defender.

"While the guys were at "Azovstal" defending our country on various fronts, these individuals were hiding in corners and abroad. Once the danger subsided, they returned and resumed their usual business: extorting, dividing the profits, and issuing threats. In other words, they returned to the typical lifestyle of an ordinary Ukrainian 'state official'. Now, in the third year of full-scale war, they have started threatening veterans. How far will this go?" the expert concluded.

Earlier, "Azovstal" defender and deputy director of KP "Spetskombinat" Alexander Skorik reported threats from the funeral firm "Peter the Great" and its owner Alla Landar. He emphasized that the threats began after the Kyiv city authorities started to regulate the funeral services sector.
