During the nighttime alert in Kyiv, a house was damaged. Here’s what really happened (updated).

In the night of Friday, January 31, the Russian army launched drone attacks on Kyiv. In one area of the capital, glass on a balcony was damaged during the alert; initially, it was reported that this was caused by debris from a drone, but these reports have not been confirmed.

"In Obolon, preliminary reports indicate that as a result of debris from a UAV falling, glass was shattered and a balcony was damaged in one of the apartments in a high-rise building,"reported on Telegram by Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko.

Update: The head of the KMVA Timur Tkachенко stated that the information regarding debris from a Russian drone falling in the Obolon district of Kyiv has not been confirmed. According to the situational center, the balcony's double-glazing was damaged due to a short circuit in the air conditioner. This led to damage to the freon pipeline connecting the external and internal units.

"The incident is not related to an enemy attack. There are no casualties." — the KMVA added.

According to preliminary reports, there are no casualties. The head of Kyiv added that rescuers and medical personnel have already arrived at the scene.

Recall that on the night of January 30, Russians struck a residential high-rise in Sumy with attack drones. As of the evening of January 30, 9 people have died. Additionally, 13 individuals sustained injuries of varying severity, including 1 child.

As reported by "Telegraph," it was also a very restless night on January 31 for the residents of the aggressor country. The Nizhny Novgorod and Rostov regions of Russia came under drone attack, with both regions housing important facilities of the Russian oil industry. The refinery in the Nizhny Novgorod city of Kstovo had recently already been targeted.
