On the morning of Saturday, February 1, Russians launched a rocket attack on Ukraine. The enemy is once again targeting energy infrastructure, leading to emergency power outages in some regions.
According to reports from the Poltava Regional Military Administration, on the morning of February 1, the enemy attacked the Poltava region. Preliminary information indicates that there were no hits on civilian objects and no casualties. However, there is damage to the energy infrastructure in the Myrhorod district. 164 household and one legal consumer are without power. Specialists are already working to restore electricity supply. Meanwhile, emergency outages have not been implemented in the region.
The Minister of Energy of Ukraine, Herman Haluschenko, reported on Facebook that due to the Russian attack, the transmission system operator is urgently implementing preventive measures to limit electricity. "Ukrenergo" clarified that as a result of the rocket attack, emergency outages have been implemented in seven regions of Ukraine.
