Updated at 10:44. The total number of fatalities has risen again and now stands at 14, as reported by the Regional Military Administration.

Meanwhile, the number of injured remained unchanged at 17, including 4 children. Additionally, 22 people were rescued from the rubble.

Russian military forces attacked Ukraine with missiles and drones on the morning of February 1. The strikes affected the regions of Poltava, Zaporizhzhia, Odesa, Sumy, Kharkiv, Khmelnytskyi, and Kyiv. As a result, emergency power outages were implemented in several areas.

In Kharkiv, a woman was killed and five others were injured. In the Sumy region, two people lost their lives.

In Poltava, the occupiers destroyed the entrance of a five-story building, causing a fire. Nearby buildings and vehicles were also damaged. Preliminary reports indicate that Russian forces struck the city with an X-22 missile.

Law enforcement has initiated a pre-trial investigation into the military crime that resulted in the loss of life (part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
