The identity of the defender beheaded by Russians has been established by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

The Commissioner for Missing Persons Under Special Circumstances Arthur Dobroserdov responded to this on Telegram on Monday, February 3rd.

Reaction to Russian War Crimes

As noted by Dobroserdov, the identity of the deceased defender has been established. The Office of the Prosecutor General reported yet another gross violation of international humanitarian law.

"The National Police of Ukraine has already been informed to establish contact with the military's relatives and to conduct necessary investigative actions to clarify the circumstances of the incident, establish the whereabouts of the body, and other important details," stated Dobroserdov.

He also urged against the dissemination of unverified information. Dobroserdov emphasized that each war crime is meticulously documented so that Russia is held accountable for all of them.

Recall that the Main Intelligence Directorate intercepted a conversation among Russians in which an occupier orders the execution of a Ukrainian prisoner of war.

The Russians have launched a large-scale disinformation campaign claiming atrocities by Ukrainian soldiers in the Kursk region. Propagandists are alleging murders and violence in the village of Russkoe.
