Ukrainian soldiers in the Donetsk region discovered a Bible over 100 years old within the walls of a house.

This was reported by the Main Directorate of Communications of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

They shared that this relic was discovered back in 2023 by soldiers of the 4th Line Battalion of the Presidential Brigade. The Holy Scripture was hidden within a wall, so the owners of the house destroyed in battles likely had no knowledge of its existence.

It has now been handed over to the Military Chaplains Service of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. If the book's owners are not identified, it will be displayed in a museum in the future.
