50,000 military personnel from various branches are being transferred to the Ground Forces for rotation.

This is reported by Ukrainian Truth, citing its own sources.

According to the publication, such transfers are made to initiate the rotation mechanism, as the individuals currently undergoing training are only sufficient for minimal replenishment of the units, rather than full support.

“Thanks to these movements between the troops, as well as recruitment, we will be able to achieve this. A rotation plan has already been approved,” an unnamed source told “Ukrainian Truth.”

The UP source also noted that the military rotation plans are not linked to potential peace negotiations or a ceasefire along the front line, adding that rotations will be possible even amid full-scale war.

Rotations at the Front

Last year, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskiy, stated that despite the challenging situation along the entire front line, it has been possible to initiate the rotation and replacement of units that have been carrying out combat missions at the front for an extended period.

According to him, this will help stabilize the situation and have a positive impact on the morale and psychological state of Ukrainian defenders.

Later, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reassessed the number of units not involved in combat operations. Some servicemen from these units were sent to the front. This created opportunities for the sequential sending of brigades for rest.

However, the commander of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Andriy Hnatov, noted that it is too early to talk about rotations, as Russia maintains its offensive capabilities.
