Ukraine will receive a new shipment of weapons from Finland.

Finland to Transfer a New Aid Package to Ukraine

According to the Finnish Ministry of Defense, the decision was confirmed by the country's president on Friday, January 31. Defense Minister Antti Häkkänen noted that the new package was formed in close collaboration with the Ukrainian side, taking into account the most urgent needs at the front.

For security and logistical reasons, details about the exact contents of the cargo, as well as the methods and timelines for its delivery, remain classified. At the same time, officials in Helsinki assured that both Ukraine's needs and the resource capabilities of the Finnish Defense Forces were considered in the decision-making process.

"It is up to us, Europeans, to determine how security will develop in Europe. Ensuring Ukraine's independence and defense capability is now a crucial part of this effort," explained Defense Minister Häkkänen.

The total value of the aid that Finland has provided since the beginning of the full-scale invasion has reached 2.5 billion euros.

Recently, Reuters, citing its own sources, reported that Germany is preparing to transfer funds to Ukraine.

Additionally, Ukraine will receive aid packages and funds from Spain and Sweden.
