The President of the United States, Donald Trump, stated that the war in Ukraine will either end quickly or never come to a close.
This remark was made during a press conference with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, which was broadcasted by the Ukrainian service of "Voice of America".
He mentioned that he had "productive phone conversations" with the Russian leader Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, and he also spoke with NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte.
"I believe we are making good progress; we are moving well. I think it will either happen very quickly (the end of the war) or it will never happen,” Trump asserted.
Additionally, Trump announced that on Friday, February 28, he would sign an agreement with Volodymyr Zelensky regarding rare earth minerals, emphasizing that Ukraine and the United States will become "great partners".
