In the Mykolaiv region, a judge has decided to release on bail a man who fatally struck a young boy with his vehicle and fled the scene of the accident.
This was reported by the village head, Natalia Panashiy.
It is noted that this incident occurred on July 19 of this year in the village of Luperivo within the Halytsynivka community. The driver, operating a GAZ-2705 vehicle, ran over the boy who was riding a bicycle. As a result, the minor sustained multiple injuries and died in a medical facility. The driver fled the scene of the accident but was later apprehended by law enforcement.
Village head Natalia Panashiy stated that there is an ongoing court process in this case, which, according to her, is being prolonged by the defense side. Recently, the court decided to release the accused from custody on bail.
“The murderer was sitting in isolation... his lawyers, Kurnosenko D.O., who is renowned for handling traffic accident cases, and another, did everything to drag out the case!!
And now Judge Olesya I.D., I won’t even call her a judge because she is singular in this regard, has decided to release the KILLER on bail!!! We still believed that he would be punished,” the message states.
Natalia Panashiy is convinced that the accused intends to flee the country to escape justice. According to her, before the suspect hit the child, he was planning to marry a woman with a disability and leave for abroad, allegedly for treatment and rehabilitation. She also mentioned that the villagers plan to protest due to the judge's decision.
“Now it looks like he will flee, just as he intended before committing the crime - planning to escape from the war abroad... marry a second time to a woman with a disability and take her last name! He had tickets to Germany for August 2, supposedly for treatment and rehabilitation, if it weren’t for the murder of the child!!!!
I won’t write more, we ask for publicity in this rotten case!!
Next, we are heading to protests!!! Why were we silent? Because this was the request of the parents, who have done everything and believed in justice!” the message concludes.
