Today marks the 990th day of full-scale war against the Russian occupiers. From the beginning of the previous day, November 8, until 22:00, there were 164 combat engagements on the front lines. The Russians have occupied new territories in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
According to data from the DeepState portal, the enemy has advanced near Maksymivka, Myasozharivka (Luhansk region, Svatove district), Dalnie, Selydove, Petrovka, Bohoyavlenka, and Pobeda. Changes in the front line are reflected on the map.
3 4 5 6 7 8As reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in their summary as of 22:00 on November 8, the highest number of battles in a day occurred in the Kurakhiv direction. The enemy attacked our positions near Illyinka, Berestkove, Novoselidivka, Novodmytrivka, Voznesenka, Maksymivka, Antonivka, and Yekaterinivka 40 times. In less than a day, 149 occupiers were neutralized there, 48 of whom are irretrievable. Additionally, enemy military equipment was destroyed: two armored vehicles, one truck, four motorcycles, one electronic warfare station, one generator, and one satellite communication station.
Russian forces are also maintaining high activity in the Pokrovsk direction. In less than a day on November 9, the Russian army attempted to breach our defenses 34 times near the settlements of Myrolyubivka, Novotoretske, Luch, Lisovka, Krutyi Yar, Selydove, Vysheve, and Mlechnoye.
"The enemy is suffering significant losses — today (November 8, — ed.) in this direction, 290 occupiers were neutralized, 133 of them irretrievably. Additionally, seven armored fighting vehicles, four motorcycles, and one bunker were destroyed," the General Staff added.
As reported by "Telegraf," on the night of Saturday, November 9, the Tula region of Russia was attacked by drones. More than a dozen explosions were heard in the city of Alexin, where at least two enterprises involved in the war effort are located.
