This was reported by the head of the regional military administration Oleg Synegubov and the mayor of Kharkiv Igor Terekhov.
The Russians attacked the Saltivskyi and Shevchenkivskyi districts. In Saltivskyi, they struck a 12-story building, destroying the entrance from the 1st to the 3rd floor. Nearby houses, cars, and metro exits were also damaged.
As a result of the strike, 25 people were injured, five of whom were hospitalized. Terekhov reports that among the injured is a three-month-old infant. Residents of the building were trapped on the third floor.
Rescuers are still clearing the debris. A total of 30 people have been evacuated from the site of the impact.
In the Shevchenkivskyi district, in the city center, Russian bombs fell in open areas, damaging historic buildings, public spaces, and residential houses. The Russians struck here twice: the second time near residential buildings. Fortunately, there were no casualties.
As a result of the second strike, at least 6 multi-story buildings, shops, trade pavilions, cars, and metro exits were damaged.
