On the evening of February 27, Russian forces launched a massive strike against energy facilities in the Kharkiv region.
This was reported by the head of the OVA, Oleg Synegubov.
According to him, the Ukrainian air defense forces are working in an enhanced mode to protect the region, and all relevant services are involved in mitigating the consequences of the enemy attack.
As reported by Synegubov, the enemy attacked the Kharkiv region with at least 12 drones. The suburbs of Kharkiv were specifically targeted by the Russian strikes.
One of the "Shaheds" damaged a private house in the Kharkiv district, resulting in injuries to two individuals.
Another person was injured in Balakliya — a 42-year-old man was affected and subsequently hospitalized.
According to data from the OVA, over the past day, Russian troops attacked several settlements in the Izium, Bohodukhiv, Kupiansk, and Kharkiv districts of the region.
As a result of the enemy strikes, residential buildings, agricultural structures, and energy networks were damaged. Additionally, a man and a woman were injured due to the Russian shelling.
