Russia struck Kramatorsk, resulting in one fatality and another person injured.

The Russian occupation forces attacked Kramatorsk in the Donetsk region on February 25: one person was killed, and another was injured.

This was reported by the head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, Vadim Filashkin.

The Russians struck the city during the day. The full details of the shelling, including the exact number of casualties and damages, are being determined.

It is currently known that one person has died and another has been injured.

Updated at 21:00. The National Police clarified that the number of injured has risen to 14, including 4 children. A rescue operation is still ongoing.

According to the police, around 14:20, the Russians targeted the private sector of the city. As a result of the attack, at least 17 private homes were damaged.

Situation in the Region

Over the past day, on February 24, the Russians shelled settlements in the Donetsk region 16 times:

• Volnovakha District. In Komar, 5 houses were damaged; in Fedorovka, one person was injured and 4 houses were damaged.
• Pokrovsk District. In Pokrovsk, 9 private homes and a store came under attack from the Russian Federation.
• Kramatorsk District. In Lyman — 1 house, and another 2 in Zarechny. In Slavyansk, 1 person was killed and 2 were injured, with 14 private homes, 8 non-residential premises, and 5 vehicles damaged. In Kramatorsk, 2 people were injured. In Konstantinovka, one person was injured, with 28 private homes, 2 power lines, 2 gas pipelines, and 2 vehicles damaged; in Ivanopolye, 8 houses were damaged.
• Bakhmut District. In Severetsk, 8 houses were under attack from the Russians.
