A drunk driver in a "Slavuta" crashed into a Ford on the waterfront in Mykolaiv.

345678On Sunday, November 10, in the afternoon, vehicles Ford Escape and ZAZ-1103 "Slavuta" collided on 2nd Naberezhnaya Street in Mykolaiv. According to a reporter from "Novosti-N" at the scene, the Ford was traveling along 2nd Naberezhnaya from Troitska Street towards Alyaudskyi Descent.

Approximately 300 meters past the intersection with Troitska Street, a "Slavuta" was parked in a parking pocket. As the Ford approached, the driver of the "Slavuta" unexpectedly pulled out into the roadway and crashed into the right side of the moving vehicle.

As a result of the accident, no one was injured; however, both vehicles sustained significant mechanical damage. Arriving at the scene, the patrol officers noticed visual signs of alcohol intoxication in the driver of the "Slavuta." A test with a Dräger breathalyzer indicated a blood alcohol level of 1.72 promille.
