Air defenses shot down 62 drones and four missiles targeting Ukraine, but they were unable to destroy the Iskander missile.

This was reported by the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Guided air missiles X-59/69 were launched from the Belgorod region, while drones were deployed from Kursk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Oryol, and Cape Chauda in occupied Crimea.

62 drones and missiles were successfully intercepted in the regions of Odesa, Mykolaiv, Kyiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Poltava, Kirovohrad, Zhytomyr, Chernihiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Khmelnytskyi, and Ivano-Frankivsk.

Additionally, 26 drones vanished from radar, and one remains in the airspace of Ukraine.

Furthermore, Russian forces launched a ballistic missile "Iskander-M" from the Rostov region. There were no reports of its interception. Russian tactical aviation also dropped guided bombs over the Kharkiv and Sumy regions.

Consequences of the Night Attack

In Kharkiv, two districts of the city were hit—Saltivskyi and Shevchenkivskyi. In Saltivskyi, a 12-story building was struck, damaging the entrance from the 1st to the 3rd floor. As a result of the attack, 25 people were injured, including a three-month-old infant.

In the Shevchenkivskyi district in the city center, Russian bombs fell in an open area, damaging historical buildings, public spaces, and residential homes.

In the Kyiv region, debris from intercepted missiles injured four people, as reported by the head of the regional military administration, Ruslan Kravchenko. They were sitting in their cars during the strike.

Additionally, in the Odesa region, one person was killed and nine were injured due to drone strikes, as reported by the head of the OVA, Oleg Kiper.
