On the night of January 26, Russians launched an attack on Ukraine using drones. Explosions were heard in several cities, including Kharkiv, where a building was damaged as a result of the shelling.
This information was reported by monitoring Telegram channels and the Air Forces of Ukraine. It was noted that the enemy began launching drones in various regions starting from the evening of January 25.
The Russians launched drones towards Kyiv, Sumy, Cherkasy, Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Chernihiv, Zhytomyr, and Khmelnytskyi regions.
According to the Air Forces, as of 06:15, an enemy drone was detected heading towards Staro Konstantyniv. At 06:24, explosions were heard in the city.
Several explosions occurred in Kharkiv overnight. The city mayor, Ihor Terekhov, reported that one of the strikes hit a private building in the Osnovyanskyi district of the city. Preliminary information indicates that windows, the roof, and part of the building were damaged. Fortunately, there are no reports of injuries.
According to the city head, relevant services are already working on-site: assessing the damage and providing necessary assistance.
As a result of two explosions, a building of one educational institution, an apartment building, and administrative buildings were damaged. Fortunately, there are no casualties. This was reported by the regional military administration.
Recall that previously, "Telegraph" reported that on January 23, during an attack by drones on Zaporizhzhia, explosions were heard in the city. A fire broke out in one of the districts as a result.
