Occupiers launched 91 missiles and 97 drones at Ukraine, targeting energy infrastructure.

This was reported by the Command of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The Air Forces detected:

  • 3 S-300 surface-to-air missiles launched from Belgorod region of the Russian Federation towards Kharkiv region;
  • 57 Kh-101 cruise missiles launched from Tu-95MS strategic bombers, with launch areas in Volgograd region of the Russian Federation;
  • 28 Kalibr cruise missiles, with launch areas in the Black Sea;
  • 3 guided air-to-surface missiles Kh-59/69, with launch areas in the airspace over the Black Sea;
  • 97 Shahed-type strike UAVs and unidentified drones launched from the regions of Kursk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Orel, Bryansk, and Millerovo in Russia.

This missile and drone strike by the enemy targeted Ukraine's energy infrastructure, military officials report.

The air assault was repelled by air defense missile troops, aviation, electronic warfare units, mobile fire groups of the Air Forces, and the Defense Forces of Ukraine.

As of 10:30, the destruction of 76 Kh-101/Kalibr cruise missiles, 3 guided air-to-surface missiles Kh-59/69, 35 Shahed-type strike UAVs, and unidentified drones has been confirmed. Additionally, 62 enemy drones were locally lost.

Massive Attack

During the night and morning of November 28, Russian forces launched a massive attack on Ukraine with missiles and strike drones.

Explosions were reported in Kyiv, Kharkiv, Lutsk, Mykolaiv, Khmelnytskyi, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kropyvnytskyi, Odesa, Sumy, and Volyn regions. There is currently no information on casualties.

Ukrainian energy facilities were targeted. Consequently, emergency power outages were implemented. More than 280,000 subscribers in Rivne region, 215,000 in Volyn, and 523,000 in Lviv region were left without electricity. Emergency power outages are expected to continue until the evening.
