On the evening of Friday, November 22, a man was killed in a traffic accident in the Lviv region.
This was reported by the police press service.
The road incident occurred on the Lviv – Sambir – Uzhhorod road near the village of Babyna. A 42-year-old resident of Lviv region driving a MAN TGA cargo van struck a pedestrian, a 36-year-old man from the Sambir district.
The impact threw the pedestrian into the oncoming lane, where he was hit by a Fiat Fiorino and a BMW 530D, driven by 53-year-old and 37-year-old residents of the Sambir region.
The man died at the scene from injuries sustained in the accident. Law enforcement officials are investigating the circumstances of the incident.
