The Ministry of Defense revealed which job vacancies are preferred by women at recruitment centers.

This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense.

The distribution of military specialties among women is as follows:

• staff positions — 24%;
• combat medics, nurses, doctors — 22%;
• specialties related to UAVs — 13%;
• cooks — 12%;
• rifle specialties — 6%;
• communication and cybersecurity — 6%;
• psychologists — 3%.

The highest percentage of female candidates in the Ukrainian Armed Forces is found in the following regions:

• Chernivtsi — 46%;
• Khmelnytskyi — 42%;
• Ternopil — 38%;
• Rivne — 33%;
• Chernihiv — 31%;
• Odesa — 29%;
• Sumy — 27%.

In the online recruitment center operating throughout Ukraine, this figure stands at 37%.

As of September 2024, the total number of women in the Armed Forces of Ukraine was 68,000.
