The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has proposed that Ukrainian arms manufacturers enter into three-year contracts. The agency believes this will ensure stable supplies and strengthen the Armed Forces.
This was reported by the Ministry of Defense.
According to the First Deputy Minister of Defense, Lieutenant General Ivan Havryliuk, such contracts will allow Ukrainian manufacturers to plan their operations, attract investments, and develop technologies.
“Together with the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, we have identified a number of priority samples of Ukrainian weapons and military equipment. This is the weaponry that is critically important for the Ukrainian army to gain an advantage on the battlefield,” stated the official.
The procurement agency of the Ministry of Defense has already signed contracts with Ukrainian manufacturers worth 208 billion hryvnias. With these funds, the Armed Forces will receive:
Manufacturers wishing to participate in the supplies must undergo a codification procedure, ensure serial production, and maintain a localization level of at least 50%.
