On the morning of Monday, February 24, Russians launched a KAB (guided aerial bomb) strike on Kharkiv. A civilian facility was hit in the attack. Exactly three years ago, on the first day of Russia's full-scale invasion, residents of Kharkiv and other Ukrainian towns awoke for the first time to the sounds of explosions caused by missile strikes from the Russian army before dawn.
The city's mayor, Igor Terekhov, reported the strike on the city. The explosion occurred at four in the morning, with the impact taking place on the outskirts of the city in the Kyiv district. Fortunately, there were no casualties, and information about damage and destruction is being clarified.
Russians regularly attack the Kharkiv region. On the night of February 20, they launched a combined strike with cruise and ballistic missiles on the regional center and the surrounding area. From the sea, remnants of the Russian Black Sea Fleet fired four "Caliber" cruise missiles, while at least two ballistic S-300/S-400 missiles were launched from the Belgorod region of Russia.
As reported by "Telegraph," there were loud sounds in the Ryazan area in Russia on the night of February 24, marking the third anniversary of the start of the full-scale war. Preliminary reports indicate that strike drones attacked a local oil refinery, resulting in fires. According to local residents, several strong explosions were heard, followed by a significant fire at the refinery. This can be seen in videos published on Russian channels.
